Media Player is a piece of software that may be used for the reproduction of different types of means files over the Windows platform.

Media Player will use the interface MCI from Windows, which allows you to reproduce a wide number of means formats.

This means, however, that Media Player needs drivers to reproduce those files; is you do not have them installed, you may get them together with MS Media Player.
